A lot's been written about this camera, and I don't have much new to add. I've had it a few weeks only, but I've found that the resolution is as described, i.e. very good, comparable to Fuji x-series cameras. High ISO performance (I've only used up to 6400) is excellent. Lightroom quickly recognized the DNG files. In Lightroom, the lens profile is not automatically enabled for raw files, so this has to be done individually as you edit the images. The pinpoint focus window is quite small, so you must search for an area of sufficient contrast to get accurate focus. I use the larger central window now most of the time. Not interested in snap focus. Facial recognition focusing is very good. Overall I believe this is an excellent camera. Superb performance in a very small package. Nothing really comparable on the market as far as I know. 5 |
