Citric Acid To Clean Front Load Washer

Put in about 1 cup of Citric Acid, dissolved, into a Jobo at high temp and give it a few hours. Fill and drain the unit a couple of times, and you're good to go! You just cleaned the Jobo. Also works well for other darkroom items, such as trays, tongs, etc...

This citric acid stop bath has been effective with all B&W developers and doesn't have the acetic acid stink. Great for home developers.

Easier to clean than the front element.

I use these acid free drop front boxes for long term storage of black and white prints and prints mounted on acid free mat board. If you go through the trouble of processing your prints to archival standards and then mount and mat on cotton rag mat board, it's a no brainer to then store the fruits of your labor in a box which will not have a deleterious effect. This is such a box. The 3 inch drop front box holds a lot of prints and the metal edge allows them to be stacked. I use the 8x10 and 11x15 boxes, and there are other sizes and colors as well. This really is the end of a long procees to archival perfection.

Nice and smooth to the touch, clean texture. Archival. Acid-Free. Worth the $ if you're trying to store material for an extended amount of time. Much better than a shoebox.

Someone please tell me any other film washer better than this.

I use it mainly to protect the front element of my lens. And it is easy to clean.

i put these on all my lenses for protection and to keep the front element clean.

Need to keep a few of these in my different bags. Never know when you need to clean a front lens element!
