Clean Laptop Computer

I'm new to recording for AM radio, but I know what I want - a clean recording, one that can be cranked up without annoying distortion, and procedures that are easy to understand and do. It's all in the RODE USB podcaster. In the past three months, I've tried SM58s, Shure SM63LB (mic for television interviewing), and several other mics that I plugged into my laptop 1/8 port - and they all made somewhat degradable recordings. The RODE USB connection means that the mic goes directly into my computer USB port - like it was meant to in the first place - and it goes directly into my Audacity software - BOOM - clean and bright. I don't want headaches with complicated hookups for my computer. I have a Windows 7 laptop, and all I did was stick the USB wire into the computer. Fantastic. Twenty seconds later a message popped up - Successfully installed. I went to my software and hit the record button, and INSTANTLY I was recording. What a gem.

This kit is awesome! Comes with everything you need to make your computer all squeaky clean! I had been neglecting my laptop for quite some time and am so glad I threw this into an existing order! I am no longer embarassed to open my laptop in public for fear of public disgust! Yahooooo for iKlear!
