Best daily backpack for work and gym. I previously purchased the first generation of the Nomatic backpack a few years back and have been using it for all my overseas work trips (pre-pandemic - normally for a week long). In comparison the Navigator Backpack is lighter, more agile and better suited to the daily usage and has just the right amount of space. The tech mesh pockets are such an essential and keep my tech gear in check. The sternum strap definitely helps to keep the bag stable especially when carrying for longer periods of time. I only have two areas of feedback. One would be the shoulder straps and another is the expandable zip pocket. If it could be swapped with the more comfortable, padded straps of the Nomatic Backpack, it would be perfect. For the expandable pocket, it is located really close to the valuables pocket at the top and it can be rather confusing which zip to pull. Just some getting use to on my end. Overall another win by the Nomatic team.

Women carry handbags, men carry backpacks :). I've carried a backpack to work for many years and have changed many of them over 20 years. But I kept telling myself they weren't the right fit, too soft, didn't hold their shape, got wet, etc. I like classic looking backpacks and that's why I chose the Everyday Backpack Zip 20l. And from that moment on I don't carry any other backpack but this one. It has to accompany me to work, on trips with my family and on vacation. Just everywhere I need to carry something that doesn't fit in my pockets. Moreover, thanks to the 20l volume, it forces me to think about what I'm taking with me, so I don't carry any unnecessary things. Since I bought an older DSLR some time ago, I based it on the need to carry it everywhere with me and often with additional lenses. The perfect thing is that I can tailor the main compartment of the backpack to the needs at hand and place daily necessities like sanitizer, hand cream, a small knife and other things in the small pockets. I tend to use the back pockets for my laptop and tablet to carry documents and more valuable small items. And the workmanship? This is of course of the highest possible standard, as we are used to with Peak Design products. The fabric that the backpack is made of is waterproof, and what's more, in the grey finish you can hardly see any smudges or dirt. And if any do happen to show up, all you need is a damp cloth and you're cleaned up. Plus, I love the little details like the magnetic side pockets for a bottle/tripod, the pack always stands upright on the ground, the zipper can be opened almost the entire circumference of the pack for easier organization of the luggage, and the list goes on. Next time I see this as some sort of Travel Backpack... we'll see :).
