I was in need of a new backpack. I already owned a few products from Peak Design, so I knew they also sold backpacks. After watching the explanatory videos on their website, I got excited about the many features. Once I bought the backpack, I realized it had everything I had hoped for and more. The various ways you can organize the contents and the ability to open the backpack from the sides are really convenient. Additionally, I find the design modern yet timeless. Besides all these very positive features, I do want to make one remark. For the price, a rain cover should have been included as standard. That’s why I’m giving this purchase a 9 instead of a 9.5.

Like most photographers I have somewhat of an obsession with bags, backpacks, etc. I have bought and sold back throughout the years, I can easily say this one will stick around. I personally use it for my Canon R6 with 100-500 attached. I can fit the 1.4 extender in the sling but obviously not attached given the design Canon used when attaching to the lens. This provides more than enough room to add some extra batteries and memory card wallet. Its heavier that just adding a strap and walking around but I prefer having a bag in case of weather. Although it wasn't my intended use, I do see myself grabbing this for times when I just want to bring my Fuji x100 and drone (mini 3). I also really appreciate the method implemented for the tripod attachment, something I've always missed on other slings or shoulder bags. I would not hesitate purchasing again and now has my considering one of their backpacks as a replacement to the peak design.

Used to say NEAR on the outside, now it says BOGEN. But it's still a good speaker.

Great way to keep your lenses clean at home or in the field. I keep a handful of packets in my backpacks so I can ensure the lenses are clear of dust, dirt, and sea salt at all times. Dries quickly after application.
