I picked this rather than the plain 980 which uses system memory as a cache. This drive is quite quick! One thing I have to say is that I think there is more than one version of the 970 EVO Plus. The one I have has an up to date firmware, but it is a different version than the latest firmware offered on Samsung semiconductor's site. One nice thing about the Samsung semiconductor drives is that you can update the firmware even if you use a non-Windows OS like I do. I run Linux generally, and this was helpful for me. 5 |

I got the 512 gb to ensure I had plenty of room to store all my docs, pics & videos & this tablet did NOT disappoint! And the screen at over 12 inches is so vivid & clear!!
