I have yet to use this one but I very much like these for backup files and system work. Save SSD for processing.

Upfront, let me say this is a great unit. I did my homework (or so I thought) on the APC website then followed-up here in B&H to make the purchase. My criteria were that it be 110V/120V to use in my office (check!) and enough uptime to keep my entire system (Mac Pro, 3 LARGE displays, external RAID drives, Backup drives and peripherals) going for more than just a few minutes in the event of power loss (check!). This does both of those. What was *NOT* clear from the APC website nor B&H product page: This unit requires a 30A circuit and a special twist-lock round receptacle. I had to have an electrician come out to install a 30A breaker and run a line to a new outlet in my office JUST for this unit. That is an extra cost I had not considered. The SECOND thing that was difficult to grasp from the photos was/is the SIZE and WEIGHT of this unit. It is LARGE. Packaged, it weighed 120lbs. Stand-alone, it is about 116lbs. It's BIG and it's HEAVY. Since the online photo has no context or anything to compare its size, it just appeared to me to be a typical-sized unit. Nope. UPS would not bring it to my door. Left it in driveway. Having said that - one could argue Buyer beware... fair enough. The unit itself is a beast that will (according to the load measured on it) keep my system up and running for just over an hour if necessary. THAT gives me plenty of headroom, so... NICE!

Microsoft's PC Health Check informed me that my 6-year old PC with an Intel I7 was not able to upgrade to Windows 11 for a number of hardware related reasons. I look at similarly configured PCs as to what I had and a new system would run well over $2K. I bought this bundle, 32GB of memory and a 1TB NVME SSD for about $750. Everything was very simple to install, and if you have any questions, there are loads of Youtube videos showing how to install this combo. The motherboard recognized the CPU without needing to flash the BIOS and in less than an hour I pretty much had a brand new system, much faster than my old one, for 1/3 the price. Total score. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bundle.

Great way to store and carry batteries. My system is fresh batteries go in plus side down. Batteries once used go in plus side up. Check different sizes depending on how many batteries you need to carry.

It's a sturdy and amazing case to check equipment on planes without fear of any damage to the content. No need to risk your carry on being weighed at the gate, found overweight and then checked when in 'normal' roller bag.  However, I would STRONGLY recommend either the TrekPak system or the normal dividers with Velcro which are very flexible. - Pluck foam is not flexible at all - once you've plucked the foam into your layout, that's it! Only way to change it is essentially to buy another pluck foam system which isn't cheap. Besides for photo gear, the case is great for normal holidays when you're flying - luggage handlers can't break this!
