Client Computer Backups Windows Server 2012

Setup on a Windows print server. Works great.

This is a great hard drive for server use or file backups, which is using this for both. If I need to expand my storage needs these are the first I'd consider getting again.

Had a 2012 mac mini server w/16 GB RAM and 1+2 TB internal SSD. This is a nice step up in speed and 24 GB RAM, but only 1 TB super-fast storage (1 TB seems to have the faster dual-chip config inside, if you are following the recent reviews in Q1 2023). Same mini experience as ever: lots of power in a small package. A little short on USB ports, so the Dell monitor with USB 3 hub is handy way to get more ports without adding another blob on the desk.

I love my BackUPS XS 1500. It powers my workstation, my server and some network gear. UPS self test failed several times and recommended replacing the battery. Ordered it and received the exact model. Replacing it was easy. Once connected, ran a self test, passed, and the UPS prompted me to enter the battery replacement date. That was it. All data was reset and the new runtime displayed.

This product was a breeze to set up and we were able to get rid of three old UPS battery backups for this one. Fit Nicely in our server rack. Always recommend tripp lite products, they have been super! Plus the the customer service has been great!

Use it for backups of my computer. Very handy and fast.

It is good for anyone who is looking for better WiFi coverage and speed. Not too complicate to configure. Multiple VPN server and client built-in for privacy protection and media streaming.

Bought 3 of these, put them in RAID5 for housing backups of up files from client video shoots. So far them seem to be working great. Easy install, easy RAID, not problems so far, probably will buy a few more very soon. I tend to not buy OEM drives when possible, I prefer the retail boxed versions.
