I use this filter a lot! I live in NM and the skies are one of my favorite subjects!!

I purchased this pointer and a greening for use in night photography (focusing). I will get good use of these in NM this fall.

Pros: Once fall down from a cliff about 30 meters high to the ground(soft soils) and still works! Amazing mechanical quality! It has been glued to my Fuji 10-24 for landscape for a long time. Cons: Not very dirt or stain proof, still needs to be cleaned quite often. It is quite fingerprints proof though. BTW: The B+W step up ring should take the main responsibility for the accident. No way could I imagine after years of them staying together, could they fall apart. After all, the step up ring always tend to get stuck with many of my filters on.

True story - I dropped my phone off of a ~60 foot cliff with this case on. I watched hopelessly as it fell and landed HARD on the massive boulders below. It took me like 30 minutes to find a way down to my phone, and then to find my phone sitting perched atop a rock, still playing my music, completely unscathed. The case itself had a few minor scratches, but the phone was completely fine. The case has a slim low-profile which is awesome. My only complaint is it has a tendency to begin falling apart after a while of use (and shortly after falling off of a cliff). I've had two in the four years I've owned my phone. Phone still going strong!

My original lens shade was lost over a cliff on the Rogue River. This replacement is a perfect fit...

When the original lens hood on my Nikkor 24-120 fell off and tumbled down a cliff and could not be retrieved I needed a replacement. The Vello product filled the bill at 1/2 the cost. It fits well and stays on. A good value.

I love this case. It is extremely durable. I feel like I could throw it off a cliff and it would survive. I haven't tested the waterproofing yet, but i think it will do just fine.

What else can anyone say? It's a lens cap and works as designed. :-) After losing another one over a cliff, I purchased a couple spares of various sizes.

My second d850. My first one crashed off a cliff. Love the features like focus shift shooting. Great all around performer.
