These adapters let you stick a mic clip or gooseneck on the end of anything with a 3/8 bolt. Keep a couple on hand! I like these ones particularly because they are well made (clean threads) and being brass, they won't rust.

Great design, it has it's own cord so no looking for a cord. The case with clip and storage for SD cards and adapters is great also. I just wish there was some way to label the card slots so I knew which card is which when I get home. Definitely worth purchasing.

While folks in pro studio and live audio usually pour over fancy gear, it’s equally important to make sure the nuts and bolts of your studio, the boring and non-flashy stuff, like cables, ties, organizers, adapters, etc. You might think I am making a mountain out of this thread adapter, but this simple piece can save headaches. Generally, thread adapters such as this piece fit into a microphone clip. The point is to allow the American standard of microphone clip to fit onto the European standard of microphone stand, and there are similar adapters for the vice versa. Once inside the microphone clip, you can no longer manipulate the adapter with your fingers. On many similar but lesser quality adapters, there is a notch to allow something like a key, coin, or other thin rigid object to twist the adapter, but only on one side. Meaning that if you were to accidentally thread the adapter with the notch inside, you are out of luck for retrieving it, and now your mic clip can only fit onto stands that your adapter accomodates for. This adapter has that notch on both sides, which saves you from frustration, and, most importantly, having to buy another mic clip (and some of these microphones have proprietary mic clips that cost a lot to replace). Save yourself the trouble by buying a $5 adapter instead of a $4 adapter. Hopefully you won’t have to thank me later, because the point of something like this is that you don’t even notice it, and this particular model succeeds!

The earlier clip pro was my initial purchase from Peak Design. I still have and use it. I've added two capture clip V3's to my ever growing kit of gear. At the time it was a hard decision to make. all of my tripod heads were Manfroto at the time and required adapters. I'm glad I went for it and I'm happy to say I never second guessed that choice. Now you don't need the adapters. You can buy a plate designed to work with them if you need. The capture clip is a great way to balance accessibility and security of your camera. I generally use them two ways. I've used them on my belt with the pro pad (I have the old and new versions of this too). I've used them on my backpack shoulder strap. In both of these cases it works great when I'm out walking about. The cameral doesn't bounce around like it can on a strap. Once you get comfortable with it, it's just as accessible. Personally, I'm glad I have both. The new ones look much more stylish but the old one is a little bigger so it can fit on some straps the new ones won't. So, I am not letting go of my old one and I like the new version enough to have two.

The great thing about this particular model is the abilities to add Bluetooth adapters for the one friend who doesn't have streaming services or Bluetooth from their phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a project manager working both from the home and at the office, I needed a blue tooth speaker that was both compact and portable. But, I also needed it to be compact enough to fit into a messenger bag pocket without crowding my electronic devices. The Clip 5 not only suits that purpose but also as shown in this image takes up absolutely no space on my desk in my home office by securely clipping onto the desk lamp. At the office it clips conveniently onto an adjustable monitor arm, inconspicuously serving as the computer speaker that really isn’t. The build quality is outstanding for being a Bluetooth speaker unabashedly minimalist in its aesthetics. The iconic carabiner appendage ie the “clip” that is practically synonymous with the JBL Clip series befits the rugged overall feel and functionality of the Clip 5. Especially given its IP67 water and dust resistance along with its beefy control buttons, it would be perfectly sufficient attached to my camelbak on deep hikes as it would attached to my work stand in the garage. After giving it a few hours to break in the sound took me by surprise with its distinctly spacious presence that left me wondering if the conventional multi-speaker desktop audio arrangement is now rendered antiquated. And while its simplicity would seem almost one-dimensional, this turned out be strictly as a result of many of its appealing features of versatility and flexibility being available through the JBL portable device app. Through the app I was able to dial in the EQ and power consumption settings for my listening and usage preferences. Speaking of connectivity the Bluetooth 5.3 synchs up with all my devices effortlessly and without difficulties maintaining the connection. With the USB-C charging port and 12 hours of battery life to which I can personally attest, this has been a productivity-enhancing sweet spot combination of listening enjoyment and portability.

This little Bluetooth packs a clear, loud audio sound! The clip-on feature is a nice touch and my daughter loves the color.

The Go blu is great for portable use. It matches well with my LETSHUOER S12 Pro IEMs. It has a livelier sound than DAPs I've used. I use my Pixel 7 running Plexamp. I connect using LDAC to the Go Blu. Then I use a Balanced connection from the Go blu to my IEMs. I've experienced no Noise/hiss using the balanced connection. If you're concerned about the no clip issue B&H sells iFi's Go blu leather case with the integrated clip. I've also tried the Go blu with easy to drive headphones and it did fine. I haven't tested the bluetooth distance, but with the phone near me I never loose conections. I have rarely noticed a skip but since I'm streaming music from my NAS to Plexamp on my phone, then using bluetooth to the unit, who's to know what causes that. It might even be the files. Overall, I'm very impressed with the Go blu. It turns almost any headphone into a bluetooth headphone.
