Clip On Glasses Correction For Desktop Computer

Exactly the correction I needed to do photography without wearing my glasses.

Excellent compact desktop computer.

I bought the +1.5 diopter for my Leica M3 SS because when wearing glasses, I can't see the 50mm frame lines. My prescription strength is +1.75 (far-sighted) and the closest diopter values are either +1.5 or +2. I was concerned about magnification so I went with the former. After placing the order, I learned that the eye piece has a -0.5 correction. After cursing under my breath, I decided not to jump the gun and cancel the order and go for the +2.0 version. I held out. The day delivery was expected, I decided to unscrew the view piece to give it a good cleaning, inside and out with a fine cloth and some cleaning solution. Out of curiosity, while I had my glasses on and the eye piece off the camera, I looked through the finder and it was blurry. So, it appears the -0.5 correction is functionally necessary for 20/20 vision, thus nullifying it's effect on diopters. I received the new diopter and screwed it into the stock eyepiece. The frame lines, the patch and the outside world were TACK SHARP. So, to me, it appears the correction value on the diopter is actual and compensating for the stock view piece is totally unnecessary.

This is a great add-on to your M bodies if you're wearing glasses.Get the right strength for the correction lens and you're all set to shoot without your glasses.The diopter gives users a clear view of the viewfinder and does not darken the view. Now I can go right up to the eyepiece and see the entire viewfinder, which makes my framing better.Best part is that when it is screwed on, you can't even tell that it's there.Against it would be the price but it was all well worth it....

If you use reading glasses, the eyepiece correction lens is more convenient. When installed, it allows faster rangefinder focusing than bifocals or readers, because it is always in place, where you left it. Albeit, a bit spendy, Leica quality optics deliver clarity. Be sure your ophthalmologist confirms your unique correction to assure performance.

It has all the things I like on a desktop. Enjoy the speed. To sum it up. I like the computer.
