Clone Large C Drive To Small Usb Flash

I used the Pearstone USB SATAIII adapter recently to clone my 1TB hard drive on my desktop to a 2TB SSD (solid state) replacement drive. The cloning and SSD replacement worked very well.

Used it to clone the drive in my laptop to the SSD drive I bought for a replacement. Should have bought 2 because my cloning software was on a different computer. Had to get another adapter locally to plug both drives into my desktop USB for easy cloning. Plug it into the 2.5 drive and it functions as an external USB drive.

I've used this drive for a few USB 3.0 large and small file transfers so far and it's fast. I can't speak for the long term durability yet, but the mechanics are fine as of now. I also take really good care of my equipment so I'm not as worried about how tough the drive is.

I wanted a fairly large capacity but small USB drive for backup of my drone memory in the field. I would have liked a 512GB drive but I bought this because it is SSD. It's perfect: fast, rugged, small, and can back up 128GB almost 4 times. I highly recommend it.
