I mostly photograph animals and scenic landscapes. Because of the terrible weather I haven't done much outdoors but what I have done has turned out great. So much better than my zoom lens because the pic remains clear when you move in for a close up crop on a small object that was in the distance. The close ups I have done with my cat are amazing! you could count every hair on her face if you had the time. I love this lens. 5 |

I own 6 Lensbaby lenses. They allow you to create effects right in the lens. Weather close up work on flowers, or landscape work the softness and bokeh is controlled by the Aperture. Wonderful effects. 5 |

Best hard case of all the most popular all weather cases. Latches open and close easily. Sides are rigid and solid. Handles fold and snap out of the way! 5 |

I have been watching the stars for nearly 5 decades now and have very slowly progressed through several backyard scopes along the way, 2 and 4 inch refractors, then my first Dobsonian back in '06, that 6 inch Dob lasted me just fine until this year, when fortunate circumstances allowed me the time, space, and money to go bigger. I am glad I did. So first of all B&H actually had this in stock, most other sites were out of stock on this and other comparable scopes of different brands. A B&H rep called me prior to shipping to confirm the order and delivery dates. It arrived less than a week later in 2 deliveries (base, then scope the next day). assembly was not difficult at all, instructions were straightforward and clear. took me about 40 min. and I go really slow...The mirrors were actually pretty close to alignment out of the box, but I did not get the scope perfectly collimated (I still need to get the proper wrenches for the secondary mirror) but I managed to get it fairly close, as the primary mirror is very easy to adjust. Then it was a wait for the weather to clear, and I FINALLY caught first light 3 wks later on new year's eve, we only had a few cloudbreaks but managed to get excellent (yet brief) views of a nice half moon and a really quick 5 minutes of Jupiter and the 4 Galilean moons, Jupiter's atmospheric bands crisp and clearly visible with a 25 mm eyepiece. I was not able to cycle through all my lenses due to weather and the new years party, but what we did manage to see with the included 25 mm was simply stunning, I can not wait for good weather to return, the collapsible design allows me to get the scope and base in the car and so far I am really impressed with the overall quality and performance of this scope, no buyer's remorse here, this is a hands-down 5 star review. 5 |

I can get up close and personal even with my 70-200mm f/2.8L IS 2 USM. I feel like no matter what the weather or lack of scenery, there's always gonna be something interesting to shoot with this piece of gear in my bag. It's light weight, well built and you retain auto-focus. 5 |

Its a lot tougher and better sealed than I expected it to be! I was rather cautious about buying this lens as it isn't weather sealed and being an outdoors filmmaker having reliable gear that performs well in harsh environments is at the top of my priorities. Although I haven't used this lens in extremely dusty conditions like in the Namib Desert. I have used it on dusty mountain bike trails, as well as on a number of outdoor and wildlife shoots in the rain, snow, and howling winds. It is also a great option for macro wide angles. You won't be able to get super close like you would with a dedicated macro lens, but you can get close enough to film the smallest of animals and the quality is amazing good. Its image quality is very good for a $300-400 Cine Prime and although there is distortion on the outer-most parts of the frame this distortion is minimal and reasonably attractive. Video is sharp usable even when wide open at T2.2. My conclusion: If used sensibly this lens will tolerate a lot more extreme weather conditions than the manufacturers will claim. I would highly recommend this Wide-Angle Lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras, especially the the Panasonic DC-GH5. 5 |

As others have said, this is a well-designed and built all-in-one filter solution to seal the front lens element from the weather, at a reasonable price. The Fuji lens cap fits it perfectly. The color match for the silver camera may not be exactly perfect, but it's very close - close enough that I think it looks like it is part of the camera. With the lens cap on, this filter adds 1/4 to the thickness of the camera (I measured). I was originally considering not adding a filter (I don't shoot much in wet weather), but looking at the front element of the lens move in and out when turning the camera on, I concluded that this filter would keep dust out of the lens, if nothing else. A composite image is attached showing the camera with and without this filter, with and without the lens cap. Some folks have commented that their filter came loose from the ring. I haven't had it long enough to know if that might be a problem. I'll try to always use the lens cap when the camera goes into the bag, to hopefully prevent that from happening. 5 |

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use. 5 |
