Closing Door On Ethernet Cable Cause Lag

Not much to say about an ethernet cable, except that it works.

I bought this unit to allow me to move high capacity disk drives between machines for video editing. It does exactly what I wanted. Moving drives is just a matter of opening the door, sliding them in, and closing the door. Te computer recognizes the drives, and I'm back to editing, rendering, or capturing files. The only comment I have is other reviewers say the doors are hard to use. To me they feel right. Like closing a door on a high quality product with a snug fit. When you close it, you know the drive is ready for work.

Easy as opening a small door, moving 2 latches, pressing the DDR4 into the 2 slots, closing the latches, put small door back into place, start up iMac - what once was 8GB now 40GB at 1/4 what Apple would charge.

A Ethernet cable that works! And it was low cost.

I use this controller for up to three PTZ 30x cameras, via PoE Ethernet. Nearly every feature of the camera is accessible through this controller. Besides pan, tilt and zoom, I regularly use manual exposure control, and up to 10 preset positions for each camera. A particularly nice feature is the ability to attach an HDMI monitor to view the currently selected camera via Ethernet RTSP. You set the speed one notch below that of your HDMI or SDI video. This is an essential feature when working with software (e.g., WireCast) or hardware (e.g., SlingStudio) which has a significant lag time. The monitor lag is only a few frames, which is easy to accommodate. I ultimately bought two Superjoy controllers, because I rely on it for nearly every job.

Great protection for your gear. Circuit breaker no lag in ethernet. A ton of outlets . Have not had to put it to test in terms of a shortage or outage but based on the specs I'm confident. Confidence is key. You can quote me on that.

We use these for our timeclocks that are not wifi but have an ethernet cable connection. Works well.
