back up my files, docs, music, photos, movies easy as 1-2-3. If you don't trust in cloud computing then this is a must have. a longer usb cable would be more convenient.

I have had a few LaCie branded hard drives over the year and they have never failed me. They give that extra piece of mind when traveling that they will stand up to a dropped bag etc.
