Reviewing Plustek in general. I own and use the OpticBook A300 Plus (scans up to 12x17, drivers avail for Windows only ATM) and uniquely to Plustek, they scan extremely close to the edge (a few mm), so they are especially suited to book scanning. Other book scanning options such as a scanner/camera mounted on a stand taking photos of an open book, and then re-straightening the images in software look like a bogus approach if you want quality. Stick to Plustek or similar book-specific flatbed scanners. The software Plustek provides is basic. I recommend using 3rd party software (extra cost, sure) - for ex. VueScan (Windows or Mac) supports most/all of the Plustek scanners (after you install Plustek's own drivers) for scanning. And once a book is scanned to images, use something like ABBYY FineReader PDF for OCR/conversion to PDF, Word docx and other formats. You can even make your own ePub's using a process such as VueScan (Mac or Windows) - FineReader PDF OCR (Mac or Windows) - Export to docx - Import docx to Vellum (Mac only) - lots of manual tweaking - Export to ePub.

Marvelous device that does exactly what I want it to do: I work in an environment with Windows desktops. I can transfer PDF versions of texts and reprints to the iXpand Drive and access them from my iPad anywhere and everywhere I go. It also allows me to transfer work-related pictures from my iPhone to networked PCs.

Great for enhancing sky/cloud photos, shots through windows, fish in ponds. An overall great polarizing filter. A tad pricier than my other filters but well worth the extra.

This product works great, easy setup for both Mac and Windows platform. Good quality, this is a must have for video transfer from your VHS tapes. My wife had concerns on losing our wedding video that was captured on VHS twenty years ago. We transferred from tape to disc, and now we can rest easy. Thank you Elgato. Will recommend to friends.

Adobe is of course the best. The constant upgrades are unbeatable. I just wish they allowed multi platform membership. I have Windows desktop and MacBook Pro.

So I was so this HD for windows platform, without reading that it was for a MAC. But that's didn't stop from getting it to work for windows by formatting the file system, bamm; that was it. The HD works great. Awesome pricing!

I recently moved from a windows platform to a Apple computer and need an adapter to connect my MacBook to my home network. The new computer does not have a Ethernet connection. This works well with my USB hub and keeps everything connected at high speeds.

This is the class PDF program in the industry. A bargain for students.
