I will start off by saying I went from a HyperX Cloud Alpha S (wired) headset to these... The transition of sound is different and takes time getting used to. The headset is heavier than most, however hasn't given me any issues. The cushions can get warm, however can easily be replaced by the Wicked Cushions. The sound is great and the options with the EQ's are endless. In all, I believe this is a great headset for any gamer, music, or movie lover!

It has soft foam ear cushions and a padded headband so it's much more comfortable than a lot of headsets. There's also onboard audio controls to make it so easy to use! The surround sound is incredibly crisp! AMAZING!

Got then 2 weeks ago, tried them out wired to my computer. The bass is really noticably awesome and the surround sound for gaming is phenomenal. They're much smaller and slimmer than they look in photos which is nice. Super comfortable ear cups! If your using for gaming note that it obviously doesn't have a mic. All around the best headset I've ever owned, I'm sure there are better out there but not at this price point. (Also I don't have an amp and the sound is amazing already!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been playing computer video games right after the invention of the wheel in every configuration possible in both video and audio. I went from a highfalutin 5.1 surround system to mutiple experiments with 2.1 systems.but nothing engaged me fully in the gaming until now. Set up was again very easy with the dongle connection to the computers USB, download the JBL Quantum app and you are at the starting gate. Click on the 7.1 channel set up and it will launch a video on how to configure the headphones with Windows.This is when the fun starts. Press test after configuration and you will hear the 7.1 surround test pattern swirling around your head.Very cool. It took a little while for my brain to adapt to the ambience that these headphone provide and doing so wirelessly! Footsteps, voices in various enviroments, shot gun blast, and explosions, drew me into the game.Soon the headphones disappered and the gaming expierence became more pronouced and involving. Even my old games that I played over a million times had a new lease on life. But wait theres more. Besides my music library in my computer, I also stream music. Now I can listen to music with these headphones without being tied down to the computer. In fact the distance from the computer was very very impressive. Did I like these? Absolutly killer for gaming and music! They have not left my head!

The quantum surround sound will give you the surround sound experience and is the best part of the headphones. You can customize your sound experience with the app. The microphone works perfect.The headphones worked perfect with my Xbox One. This headset gives immersive gaming experience you need. Negatives: None but if nitpicking, the sound cable can be little longer.

The sound was clear with no static. The controls are so easy and convenient because they are right there on the headset! Did I mention the mute is noise canceling mike! I really like this headset I did want to compare the virtual surround on these and my razer thresher ultimate headset when it came to gaming with them The Philips Fidelio X2HR sounded good but there are some sounds that can not be picked up when gaming as I have heard and seen in some youtube reviews that have said otherwise The sound is great on the Philips Fidelio X2HR for gaming But there just better for thrasher music and heavy bass They really kick I highly recommend these

I had a surround sound system in my family room, but it was old, wired and starting to fail. When my son mentioned the Roku system and everything that came with it, I looked it up and checked out some reviews. I decided that it was for me.
