Initially I set up my security system of two cameras and the DVR on a single 12v 3A power adapter with a splitter cable. Everything worked but there were squigglies in the brightest areas of one camera feed. I added this power adapter to drive just that (4k) camera and the squigglies disappeared. The 4k image is now clean and astounding. 5 |

I only had 1 TB hard drive in my 4K home security system and would only get about a day worth of replay. With this new additional 10 TB I have 9 days and counting since I installed.
