I haven't been outside in the rain with it yet 8-), but I won't have to be timid about going anywhere in anykind of weather. 5 |

The Ruggard Rain Shield is excellent to carry in your camera bag for use in rain and other bad weather. It fits well and the equipment dials are easy reach from under the fabric. If you shoot in bad weather, this Rain Shield will protect your camera and lens. 5 |

Its not weather sealed like the $350 one. I dont know who needs that much battery power while shooting in the rain. I can go smaller, more nimble without a battery grip in those conditions and swap batteries the old way and save the money. But when Im with a client and want my camera to look more Pro... I use the battery grip... lol 5 |

Broke the strap attachment last deer season. Rain Covers are very necessary here in the PNW FALL. THE new one has an attachment to the strap on both sides. Fits like a clove on my 10x42 Minox binoculars. 5 |

The Aqua Tech system is a great piece of rain gear. I use it a lot in the fall when shooting football games. This new eyepiece allows me to use the Aqua Tech on 2 different cameras. Well made and sturdy. 5 |

I managed to use it briefly when rain was starting to fall. A Traxshot mic was attached to the hotshoe of my Panasonic GH4 and an Olympus 12-100 lens. It was the correct size with lots of room to spare. Using this rain sleeve means you use the LCD but it affected my LCD / viewfinder sensor. If something blocks the viewfinder sensor, the viewfinder will turn on and the LCD will turn off because it senses someone is using the viewfinder. If it senses the plastic, your LCD turns off and you have to pull back the plastic away from the sensor so the LCD will turn on. It's very useful if you expect rain to fall. It was a timely purchase. However, you still prefer that it doesn't rain because it is inconvenient to use it. But it's nice to have it just in case you still have to take pictures in bad weather. I highly recommend it. 5 |

Use: sports (lacrosse) played in variable weather conditions (sun, rain, snow) with variable light. Good: Outstanding clarity under low light conditions. Bad: Heavy, pricey. 5 |

I always carry rain gear with me when I am out shooting. I use a Canon r5 and an array of Canon L lenses. I have been out shooting on days where the Weather Bureau has indicated a low probability of rain, and then I found myself in a down pour. The rain sleeve's fold easily and store neatly. It takes seconds to unfold them and slide your camera and lens in and not risk thousands of dollars of equipment to the elements. 5 |

I bought this for a trip to Ireland where we had wild weather changes. To me, this product strikes the right balance between protection and the ability to use the camera in the rain. We did a 10 mile walk with lots of rain and wind and I the cover kept the camera dry between shots. I ordered a large and I'm glad I did. My camera's not huge (5DIII with 16-35), but I think the extra coverage and greater ease of taking on and off with the large was worth it. The fabric is somewhat stretchy, but it's not bulky (like neoprene), go round up a size. 5 |
