It seems there are either multiple versions or multiple suppliers of this unit, as there seems to be variations on how the tabletop is secured to the center column. I've seen one that used 2 small sheet metal screws (why??) plus 2 slightly larger machine screws. The one I received had one very large machine screw that securely attaches the top to the column. Keeping the price point and build materials in mind, this is not something I'm going to trust to support a great deal of weight, and certainly not as you move away from the center of the table. It seems fine for light leaning, but I wouldn't have anyone place their full upper body weight on it. Overall, I'm very happy. The height adjustment knob tightens securely and doesn't appear fragile. The entire unit is studier than I anticipated and doesn't wobble or feel cheaply constructed. I recommend this for anyone needing a table for light posing or for product photography. 5 |
