I have had many mono pods and this was by far the most expensive. I was iffy on spending this much on a mono pod but after reading the reviews i pulled the trigger. Very happy with this, Its super light easy to use and works as it should.. If your someone that hikes i would see no issues using this as a walking stick with the metal spike on the bottom exposed 5 |

I read reviews on this that had me concerned, head coming loose from pod. Unable to lock Head in position. I say you need to build up some hand and brain strength. Installing the head is quick and easy. Lock the pan knob and tighten it down. Then loosen the pan knob and everything is fine. I have no issues with a 13 pound RIFLE mounted holding positions. And I’m going to bet my optics are better than most cameras so I can see if the head drifts. Sorry I like this head a lot and have no complaints. 5 |
