This is great for a school setting, or anywhere that has a laminating machine. I could see the posters getting messed up if you hang it up as is, but after being laminated its just fine. 5 |

Almost like laminating before printing! I just started to use it and wish it were available when I was in school!! 5 |

Works in extreme cold and extreme heat, waterproof also. I store 3 external hard drives in it in case of fire or earthquakes. 5 |

The Vello 6-inch cold shoe extension bar allows me to mount both my directional microphone and my LED light on top of my Panasonic video camera. This is done without crowding previously experienced with my 4-inch bar. 5 |

These can be weird because some cold shoes can be tough to fit in due to machine tolerances. I appreciate the tolerance in having it as small as possible, but that can be a detriment if it takes too much persuasion to get things in and out of it. Also, locating pins on the bottom would be nice so it doesn't spin and/or back the screw out. 5 |

I have tried it so far on a Windows 10 Pro machine. I have tried it with 3.5 inch SATA HDDs at 7200 RPM and 5400 RPM. I've tried it with 2.5 inch SATA SSD. It works great. 5 |

I bought mainly to backup my MBP M1 14 Inch as Time Machine, it is really fast when compared to hard drives. I also like It's sturdy yet small enough to carry. I keep it on my desk and plug/backup every week. Will see how long it last! I would recommend, it's pit pricey. 5 |

This iMac 24-inch replaced a late-2014 iMac 27-inch that we bought from B&H almost exactly seven years ago. My wife used that one to create digital art, and it was just time to get a faster machine to keep up with the software advances. The 24-inch screen has not been much of a sacrifice versus the 27-inch. One benefit is that the smaller screen requires less eye movement side to side, which significantly reduces eye fatigue. The pixel density is about the same as the larger 5k screen. No PC offers this quality of screen except Apple. The M1 is much, much faster with Corel Painter than the older machine (as one would expect). The sound system is very good. The only complaint is that Apple makes the worst keyboards. The Magic keyboard that comes with this iMac feels flimsy and junky. Instead, we plugged in a 9-year-old USB Apple keyboard, and it is much, much better. I would say that, if you buy an iMac, prepare to buy an aftermarket keyboard for about $100. 5 |

Amazing machine. Compact and long lasting power. I powered a 32 inch monitor, laptop and mi fi device for 10 hours and still had probably 8 hours of power remaining. 5 |

This digitizer easily exceeds the quality of the 8 mm films I am converting to digital. I know there are more expensive and higher quality solutions out there but for amateur films made on wind up movie cameras from the 40s and 50s on into the 60s this easily fits the bill. It is slow but I'm not in a hurry. It takes 29 minutes to do a 50 foot roll. I like the fact that it can handle 9 inch reels although some of my Father's 9 inch reels have multiple breaks in the film. I just insert the broken end back into the feed without splicing and continue. I then manually wrap a turn or two of the broken end around the take up reel while it's digitizing. Rewind requires swapping the reels which is probably cost savings in the price of the machine. Rewind is also very slow but I appreciate the slowness because I don't want to see this fragile film whipping by at any kind of speed. I use Adobe Premiere Elements to adjust the speed about 30-40 percent slower. Premier also easily splices together broken film fragments as well as allows me to caption or freeze a frame for 5 seconds in order to linger on something important. In summary I am very satisfied with the job this machine does. 5 |
