When the wind blows this helps.

Beautiful diffusion, no blooming at all. Little to no noise when the wind blows it. Very well made.

Use it in very heavy wind in intense weather on my RE50 mic. Sometimes the wind literally blows these away so I have to keep a supply on hand. They work as well as the $ ones, so why pay more?

heavy enough not to show any vibrations as people walk by or as wind blows. i can loosen various parts w/o shaking the camera to rotate. satisfied for the budget price. easy to use. there is also a compass on one of the legs. under the stand there is a hook. two of the legs have sponge grips. but one of the legs have a clamp that seems fragile-it feels like i'm breaking it when i close it. but it's still holding the legs up. used it for a few events and no problems.

Not only does this umbrella give a great quality of light and catch light, but it saves your flashes when the wind blows your stand over because you're too lazy to carry around a sand bag or 2.

The tripod is light weight for carry around yet sturdy if the wind blows. So far I have had no issues and a usual Manfrotto makes a great product. Well worth the money.

Not exactly for extreme cold ,but i was VERY pleased with these gloves at -7 to -11 degrees Fahrenheit, they kept my hands warm enough to take pictures of the birds i was after and then put one or both hands in pocket with heat packs every once and a while I really like that you don't have to expose your fingers with the tactile fingertips in that kind of cold weather. , Since they are so thin makes it easy to hold camera and use controls. (if you get cold easily, might not be for you), but I highly recommend these gloves for anyone serious enough to be out in those temps. With that being said, there was no wind while i was shooting, so no wind chill factor added here

Finally photography gloves that keep my hands warm in the cold and wind. They have been good in the mid 20s f.

I bought these for shooting outdoors in the cold & wind. They fit snug as described, which is exactly what I was looking for while carrying my gear. The magnetic fingertips are awesome for fiddling with the dials on the camera, and the palm had a gripping patch that was useful as I maneuvered around the site where I was shooting. They were not extremely thick, so I may invest in a thicker insulation type for trips to extremely cold climates. However, I will probably order an additional pair to use for just go to gloves. Seem to be quality made
