I use my Pentax digital camera to photograph inactive mine sites in the State of Colorado. My new lens is so clear, I wish my vision matched it.

I am not a native of beautiful Colorado, but I got there as quick as I could! I only mention this because I moved from the second most beautiful state in the nation, Minnesota , eight year ago. I was inspired to share this special place with family and friends back in Minnesota and though I started with a great Panasonic point and shoot, I soon wanted more camera that would allow me to push my creativity further. My first DSLR was the Pentax K50 which was a great camera. Early on, the camera was way smarter than me, but I eventually caught up to a degree. Early 2016, I graduated a bit in my expertise as an amateur and sold the K50 to a friend and purchased the K3 Pentax. Amazing camera! With the in body shake reduction, I find I can hand hold low light shots at 1/4 sec without blur. (I do use a tripod in most lowlight situations, but wanted to point out how great the Pentax camera body's are ) I have built my kit with three Pentax Limited prime lenses and the Pentax 50-300 zoom. The 15mm and the 70mm Limited are great lenses and have a definite niche in my bag. My latest 35mm Macro Limited prime arrived on my doorstep Friday August fifth 2016 and I had the opportunity to put it to the test all weekend. From deep color and sharp contrast and crystal clear images at the Golden Colorado Super Cruise car show last weekend, to Colorado mountain wild flowers using the better than advertised Macro close ups with beautiful Bokeh...........I could not be happier with this lens. I would say I am an advanced beginner as far as my level of expertise, so I can't give you a critique of this lens the way professionals can using proper jargon, but knowing what I have seen with my own eyes, if I was told I could only have one lens for my K3, this would be it. B & K had the lowest price on this lens, and I am more than happy to continue to do business with them, as they have great customer service and very, very helpful tutorials on You Tube

Tried this pack out last week during a shoot in Colorado. Loaded it up with my camera, 2 extra lenses, a flash, chargers, tripod mounted on the outside, etc. etc. The total weight was about 17 lbs. Carried it around for a couple of days - and it worked well. Easy to open and take out what I needed, and it IS water repellent, as I found out. Great product.

My D600 gets a lot of use in difficult locations in Colorado's mountains and I was looking for something to protect the camera from bumps and dings. The case is very durable and offers great protection for the camera body. Only negative is that it does not cover the battery grip and requires some trimming to make it fit with the grip attached.
