Comcast Modem Compatible Wireless Router

This modem works well, and is compatible with Comcast/Xfinity network.

We are comcast customers and we have one room that we could not get comcast wifi reception (even with Comcast wifi pods.) Luckily I had previously wired the room with CAT5e access to a PoE switch that was connected by CAT6 cable to the Comcast modem/router. Adding the Ubiquiti AP was simple and it provides excellent wifi service in the formally wifi-isolated room. The SID for the room is different from the SID broadcast by the Comcast modem/router but this slight inconvenience is worth enduring to get a strong signal.

The modem is compatible with Comcast. It is easy to set up. Internet signal is strong.

I was using Comcast/xfinity cable router w/WiFi modem, was not able reach to few areas of my house but this C7000v2 is simply great with fast reach. Love it… I am glad I made the move to this router!

I was using an Arris (Motorola) modem/router combo. It was constantly disconnecting me from my Comcast internet service. Comcast Tech came to the house, boosted the signal and ran a new coax from the pedestal to my house. Same thing. I bought the AC 1900 over two weeks ago and have had no problems. The speed is much higher than with my Arris and the range is much greater also. Installation was super easy on the Comcast website. This is a great product and I highly recommend it. Comcast X-Finity recently suggested that we upgrade our modem. We decided to also upgrade our router, and chose the ASUS RT-AX82U. We have been very pleased since making the changes. We have a smart television outside in a covered porch area. We needed a separate extender on our old router to get service, and it was still spotty. We have had no problems getting a satisfactory connection using this new router without an extender.

I bought this wifi router and a cable modem last month when I cut the Comcast cord. It was a little more expensive than the Netgear wifi router I have used in the past, but I went with it because I use a Synology NAS, which I also love. This device does not disappoint. Technical specs are outstanding, the software is great, and set up was a breeze. We are heavy internet users and this router is the best I have ever used.
