Comcast Wireless Router Setup

We have a n router, not an AC standard router, but, compared to the adapter built into our relatively new laptop, the wireless download speed increased from about 20 Mbps to 36. Our hard wired service from Comcast into the router is about 85-90 Mbps so there is speed loss in wireless, but it's much less with this adapter than the one that is built into our Dell laptop. Plus, if we ever buy a new router, (and possible upgrade our Comcast internet service), we may be able to take advantage of the higher AC band speed.

I replaced my comcast modem with this one plus a NETGEAR router. The setup instructions weren't quite complete enough, but NETGEAR customer service was great and got me set up. This router has smart connect to allow both WiFi bands to use the same network name and select the correct bandwidth for all devices but has to be enabled in the settings. Overall, it is saving me money and works great!

I recently replaced my Comcast gateway with this router. It was easy to active and setup. I paired this modem with an r6700ax router and my internet speeds at home have increased substantially. Both of the devices were affordable and have definitely increased my quality of life and work from home efficiency. Would recommend this combo to anyone looking for an upgrade to their home network without breaking the bank.

We are comcast customers and we have one room that we could not get comcast wifi reception (even with Comcast wifi pods.) Luckily I had previously wired the room with CAT5e access to a PoE switch that was connected by CAT6 cable to the Comcast modem/router. Adding the Ubiquiti AP was simple and it provides excellent wifi service in the formally wifi-isolated room. The SID for the room is different from the SID broadcast by the Comcast modem/router but this slight inconvenience is worth enduring to get a strong signal.

I have had comcast connection for internet. Comcast always claimed that I on my high speed plan but my existing wifi router would never give me that much speed. I switched to ubnt router and voila comcast's claim turned out to be true.

Hello Asus. This wireless router is excellent. Easy to setup and works great. This is my 3rd Asus wireless router and when it's time for a new one down the line I will purchase another Asus product.

Upon doing a lot of research between other cable modem/router combos, I finally decided the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 was the best selection to fit my needs. I live in a home that is 1850 square ft and the wireless coverage reaches in all areas of the entire house with no problem as I performed multiple speed tests and the results were very consistent throughout. The setup through the router setup management interface was seamless and very user friendly. I was able to set up my 2.4Ghz, 5 GHz, and guest wireless networks in 3 minutes. I also like the fact that you can set parental controls to manage usage time and block inappropriate websites. The Netgear ReadyShare Vault is extremely handy for me so that I can share movies, pictures, and files across the network. Overall, I would highly recommend this product!

This cable modem and wireless router is the way to go! Much better than my old setup with the cable company that I had to put a wireless router behind. It eliminated many problems and I no longer have to trouble shoot between the two of them. One device and is providing me with faster internet and wireless speeds, this modem/router is the way to go for any cable user.
