I'm a commercial photographer, mostly working with products and food, and, eventually the casual model walks in. I must say ARRI 650 is a really nice piece to have. A few reviewers may say it is kind of expensive, well I don't think so. The light beam produced by its lens is just gorgeous. Without any doubt, if you are a portrait and fashion photographer, this baby is a MUST within your arsenal, with the right combination of lights this baby will produce some amazing textures, including those B&W OLD FASHIONED classic-looks Hollywood style. That feature, for me as a commercial photographer, is just a bonus since my main subjects are bottles, food and products. If you know how to control it, some amazing striping-light effects can be achieved. Don't forget to get the barndoors. 5 |
