Common Problems With Beginning String Instruments

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments.  The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections.  Versatile and great sound quality.

This mic sounds very nice for vocals, plucked string instruments, and woodwind instruments (at least that's what I've tried it on). I highly recommend it!

It worked from the beginning with no problems. I am extremely pleased. I could really use a 3m cable but apparently it is not made.

Allows me to elevate speakers well above head height which solves two very common problems: 1) Prevents feedback when people walk directly in front of the speaker with a microphone. 2) Prevents blasting guests with too loud audio at a wedding when planners place tables between the DJ and the dance floor. They are longer, heavier and have a larger footprint than standard height stands but the trade off is worth it.

I use this for many situations - mostly just use a scissor and then make hand adjustment to get the shape I want. It solves common barndoor lighting problems. You can use it to improve light shapers and use it as a flag. The usefulness is only limited by your imagination. Buy the long 50' cinefoil - you're going to need it.

The most common complaint about these are poor and tight fit, making them hard to attach and remove. I had no problems with these.

I was able to use this scanner with no problems. The instructions are useless. But common sense works great. This scanner did a good job on my film, was quick and is very easy to use. It was a good purchase.

This printer is an "A+" printer that has performed from the beginning with no problems. It has a fax included but haven't needed to try it out. Will see when i do try it. I recommend this 8153e to anyone needing a work at home all in one. The price is unbelievable! You don't need to get an expensive one for the home, this does it all (unless your working from home with more advanced options, that is}, but this does the job for general at home work!.

This system has been great, we did have some problems in the beginning but Redrock has great support and got everything fixed, they even sent a unit to use since it was the day before a huge shoot. Our circumstance was a little extreme and they may not always do this but its been a great tool.
