Compare Akg K550 To Sennheiser 600 Headphones

I currently own several pairs of headphones (2 Sennheiser, 2 AKG, 1 Grado) and that doesn't include in-ear/earbuds. The ATH-M50x's are my favorite! Great sound, comfortable & easy to drive. I like that they come with 3 different cable lengths. They are over ear, meaning a little bigger, but that helps seal out external sounds. Highly recommended!

Perfect AKG studio headphones

Works well. Decreases the wind noise well on Sennheiser MKE 600.

I have had an AKG D112 for twenty years and decided to pull the trigger on this Sennheiser E902 mic. This one seems to capture a bit more of the tone and sustain of my 18" Gretsch bass drum. I will leave it on my studio kit and tune it in even more, but already I love it. The cable does stick out of the back (making it longer than the D112 whose cable sticks out perpendicular to the throw) but no big thang.

I don’t use this on an AKG. For me, this little clown nose is perfect for my Sennheiser 416 microphone. I work this microphone close-up. A conventional nylon stocking-type enormous circular windscreen doesn’t allow me to have a proper view of the script I am performing. This little pop filter is expensive but superbly addresses my need. A studio in Hollywood has been successfully using this on the Sennheiser 416 for three decades. When I must record in another studio I have this in my pocket.

Well made case. I wanted it to house my AKG D5 mic and Sennheiser 825 Mic and they fitted perfectly. I cut the foam insert to divide them and I am confident that they are protected. I even personlized the name plate mounted on the front with my name and address in case they get misplaced. It seems to be very well constructed with a heavy duty zipper and thick exterior material. The foam padding inside should keep them well protected. I would definitely recommend this case as a microphone carrying case.

Before the HD 600 I was used to use an AKG K240, wich is not a great headphone, but is at least a regular one. After listening to the HD 600 I thought that the AKG was something like a consumer headphone. Maybe it's not the best sounding headphone, but it is so precise that a good recording sounds good, and a bad recording sounds bad. It does not make anything better than it is. If you are looking for a headphone for professional use (audio engeneering) I recommend it very much. If you listen to good recordings I recommend it very much. But... If you have chosen to listen to low quality mp3 audio I don'n recommend, because I think you're going to be disappointed.

I have used this amp in my home studio for over four years and it works great with my AKG Monitor 600 ohm phones as well as low impedance ones. It has always presented an accurate image of what the tracks sound like through my speakers; no gain or loss of high or low end and no problem driving four sets simutaneously. Haven't really experienced any negatives thus far.

A good product to keep your headphones. (I have the AKG K371-BT), and they very well secured inside this case.

I use these headphones for everything, simply because they work, and they are comfortable. I haven't found any other headphones that compare yet.
