I have a 6 piece kit that I am using this microphone set for. I have never used any other drum mics, so I cannot compare it to others. However, I am very satisfied by the quality these mics provide. I am a former professional, but now retired and playing and recording drums as a hobby. For this purpose, these mics are fine. 5 |

This has been great option for my fuji. Don't have other shotgun mics to compare it to, but I don't have any regrets from it. Audio has been solid for my indoor recordings. Subjects typically 6-10' away filming jiu-jitsu tutorials. 5 |

I had one of these and used it for events but just ordered another because it's so good that my other mics don't compare and plus I want the sound to match between two cameras. This isn't the mic for every job, but for ambient sound recorded digitally, there's nothing better. 5 |

Went to NAB to compare mics, specifically. Listened to Sennheiser, Sanken, Shure and this was my favorite. Had for over a year, still love it. 5 |

compare to some other lav mics I have sanken has a very high volume, so no need for extra gain. very tiny, it is ver easy to hide, great sound quality. Omni directional, its catching every noise around, so you got to be careful. Over all its a great product for professionals. 5 |

I have one D112 already and love it. I wanted to compare to some other bass drum mics to purchase a second, and found that this most accurately reproduces the sound. Bottom line, it sounds great. And it's rugged and has design improvements over the first version (attaches directly to your mic stand). If you're looking for a good bass drum microphone, this is it.
