I've heard great things about Rode products, and so I figured I'd pick up this mic. The quality of the sound right out of the mic is alright (definitely useable), however, with some basic audio editing, the microphone really excels. Think of it as shooting log on a camera. Without editing, it doesn't look great, but with a little work in post, it really shines. The included shock mount and dead-cat work extremely well, and the build quality is phenomenal. All in all, this is a great microphone for anyone starting out, or pros who are just looking for a backup, especially considering the cost! 5 |

I am a big fan of RODE audio products so I trusted that this tiny microphone would work great for a portable mic kit to be used with my iPone 11. I was not disappointed. I have been using the outstanding RODE Videomic Go, but it is just too large a mic to take on the go. This VideoMicro sounds just as good. I am also very impressed that B&H sells it in a kit with the TRRS cable necessary for iPhone audio. (Something the other RODE resellers do not include.) 5 |

I use it with my Rode M5 match pair along with some vocal mics and create perfect workable files every time, without exceptions. Best piece of audio equipment for my growing video needs. I originally owned the premix 3 and was going to sell it once the premix 6 arrived, but the peace of mind of these devices swayed me to keep both. 5 |
