Comparison Between Sony Nikon And Canon Digital Camera
Ricardo | 2024-04-02 02:18:42 |
I am very happy with this camera. I did a comparison between my Full Frame Sony A7iii and this camera, attached to both cameras lenses with apertures f2.8 to F4, and was pleasantly surprised that the Nikon D500 gave as crisp, clean , sharp and slightly better images than my Sony full frame camera. And most surprisingly, the colors are more pleasant ! I am also finding myself grabbing this camera more when I want to have fun shooting. I am noticing how pleasant and enjoyable to use the Nikon D500 with its ergonomics, the many buttons that make it easy to operate and change functions. I am falling in love with photography again because of this camera . 5 |

To be honest, I have nothing to compare it to...since going digital I have only used Canon (and Nikon before that for film) until now that I use a Sony a7IV. All of my cine and photo friends who went to Sony with a load of Canon lenses recommended this hands down. I love the design and feel of it. So far so good! 5 |

My quest for the proper bag that holds just what I need and nothing more. Between the Digital Camera & Drone this bag works for me. Old saying I heard and remembered.. "We have two sizes of bags, too big and too small." This bag is just right. 5 |

I never used an instant film camera before and I have always been digital camera user (SONY and Nikon). No doubt RF70 is the best Polaroid camera I've seen! It's just amazing. The best thing of RF70 is the aperture control, and excellent shallow depth of field. I am very happy and having fun shooting with it. 5 |

Although I usually choose Sony for my point & shoot digital cameras, after doing my research, I found the Canon PowerShot SX730 HS to be exactly what I was looking for. After nearly one month of using this camera daily on my European vacation, I found it absolutely perfect for my needs. The price was comparable to others that offered similar, but not all the features that this camera has, and it was reasonably priced at $379.00 from B & H Photo. Secondly, this camera takes spectacular pictures, allows me to edit them within the camera itself, and/or send the pictures wirelessly to my iPhone, a process which took me a while to understand, but once I figured it out, I was able to transfer my photos quickly. In Europe, the WIFI connection was not always perfect. So, sometimes while transferring my photos, I would lose the connection and have to start over. I imagine that would happen with any other similar camera under the same circumstances. I don't expect to have that same issue here in the States. I mostly used the AUTO setting, but will now explore the other features. The camera was reliable, the battery kept its charge throughout each day, and it was easy to use. I simply charged the battery and had it ready for the next tour day. I particularly liked the selfie feature, which worked quite smoothly. I also like the fact that the flash doesn't pop up unless and until you manually move the switch. This is especially helpful because, just like my former Sony digital camera, the flash would pop up where most people want to place their left hand index finger. It was always a pain having to tell people not to put their finger there. This eliminates that issue. The only con was when I returned home and wanted to wirelessly transfer my pictures to my MacBook Pro Version 10.11.6. Presently, this camera does not have that capability. I contacted a Canon rep who guided me through the process of uploading my pictures to their cloud. It worked quickly & perfectly. 5 |

this is a great lens. Build is very solid. The lens is heavy only in comparison to the native FE lenses (it's equal to the Nikon 85.) I personally like it more than he Canon 85mm 1.2. The only downside is that on the lower apertures the bokeh looks more ghosted than the Canon and Nikon up till F2. As someone else noted the Mitakon lens hoods are terrible and cheap. But the lens itself is the opposite. 5 |

I dont have or use any Canon batteries (life long Nikon man...working with only v-mount or Anton Bauer p-tap accessories...and this is perfect. The coil keeps it tidy without having to make little loops that you tie or Velcro to the camera. It's long enough for both large and small camera builds. I use it for my smallHD 702. I have a similar cable for the Sony batteries, but it's nice to have a backup/spare (since the 702 accepts both Sony and Canon batteries). 5 |

So far I really like this camera. The pictures look clear. I had a Sony and Nikon before this one, I think the Canon is the best out of the 3. I have not printed any pictures yet. I like how small it is, I can fit it in my purse real easy. I bought the case that comes with it and I like that also, the only thing is I wish you did not have to feed the wrist strap through the little hole before you close the case. But over all I think this is a great camera! 5 |

I recently jumped ship from Nikon to Sony. I know that the A7II is already an old camera, but if you compare it to most cameras made around that same year, you won't find a better deal. It took me some time to learn the Sony menu system, but believe me it has its logic. I have already done more than 3 photo sessions with it and the results are better than I would have expected. The only downfall is the battery life, but since so many Sony cameras use the same battery is was easy for me to find cheap and decent batteries and chargers. If you have an additional $1,200, then I would recommend going for the A7III, there's a big difference in performance (not like Nikon or Canon that when you pay an additional grand the difference is not that big). I also acquired a Sony 85mm ƒ1.8...ufff...sharper than the Canon and Nikon versions. I was hesitant to change to a mirrorless camera been a photographer with decades on my back I was used to being everything through the lens, and also I wasn't convinced with most EVFs. The autofocus could be a little better, including the EyeAF, but for this price it's great. Video could be better, this camera is more dedicated to the photographer than the videographer, but for You Tube it's good enough. All in all is a great purchase for the price. 5 |
