Compatible Micro Sd Card For Nintendo Switch

I recently bought a nintendo switch oled model and despite the 64gb of onboard storage plus a 64 gb samsung micro sd card, I was quickly running out of storage, but then I found this website and this micro sd card and my gaming life was saved. This review is specific to B&H Photo. I almost bought a Nintendo-branded SD card for a fairly noticeable markup before I did my reading and settled on this. TL;DR this card is probably good enough for your Nintendo Switch (though some may enjoy the upgrade pick of the SanDisk Extreme tier). From what I can see, storage media fraud (e.g. bogus SD cards that actually only contain a fraction of their stated capacity) is on the rise at several outlets, which is why it's important for me to specify that this review is also a vote of confidence for B&H. By selling the card directly to me (and not acting as an intermediary for a third-party seller), B&H has skin in the game, and gives me added peace of mind that they stand by what they sold. It's a bit sad that I have to say this, but the card I received was (happily) exactly what it said on the tin - a card with 512 GB (~477 GiB) that gladly ingested its full capacity at an acceptable speed. I do not notice any performance difference when playing games on my Switch, but I was buying this for the space, not for the blazing read speed.

Do you need a Switch branded SD card for your Nintendo Switch? No. Does it give warm fuzzies that if something doesn't work you can call Nintendo or Sandisk and get support? Maybe. Is it a neat little design for an SD Card and does it work well with the switch? Yes indeed! First SD card that made me go out and buy a faster card reader after it took over an hour to migrate 64GB from old card to new. Would definitely recommend!

I bought the SD card for a great fan of the Nintendo Switch. He was very pleased to receive the SD card, which is meant for the Switch and is very up to date, and the capacity for storage is ample. In addition, Sandisk is a very reliable brand for cards of this kind. He was totally delighted to receive the card, which increased his ability to use the Switch by a great deal.
