Complete Desktop Computer Packages

I spotted these speakers to complete my desktop computer sound system, and I am not disappointed! I have a white desk, white keyboard, white curved monitor, white Fractal Design computer case, white pod chair...you get the idea. It's all very sleek and clean looking. But I wanted speakers that were high-quality and sounded good, with an appearance to fit in with my high-end computer system & home office. The Kanto YU2 speakers are prefect! I have them connected to a 50w 6 1/2 Yamaha ported sub under my desk, and it's actually a little overpowering. (I would like to add the sealed Kanto Sub6 in the future, I think it would be a better match.) But these speakers are not concert hall loudspeakers, they are limited in a perfectly appropriate way for a desktop, facing you a short distance away. That said, they also fill my room with sound, and I listen to them in my nearby kitchen & living room as well. Quality is very high, they have a very sturdy, well-done construction. They actually manage to produce respectable bass, but are quite complete with eh sub I described. I even love the included Kanto 1/4" headphone cable, I use it with my iPhone on occasion. Otherwise, these speakers are connected to my computer via USB, which required no set-up. LOVE them!

Excellent compact desktop computer.

After an initial challenge with installing the 2 software packages required to operate this scanner, the rest turned out to be very intuitive, at least on the MAC (I have not tried it on a PC yet). I am pretty much a complete novice for scanning slides and while I know that some of the scans will be requiring customized choices for the editing to make them look better, most slides - some close to 60 year old! - resulted in amazing scans. I used the fully automated Ai package from the very beginning because that eliminated almost all of the blemishes including fungus colonies (yes, we did live in hot humid climates) to almost complete perfection. The other surprising element is that the footprint of this scanner is very small and it is easily portable in the bag provided with it. I have scanned only about 300 slides so far but if this machine continues to perform this way, it will be a very good investment of my money and time and hopefully a lot of pleasure for my family and friends revisiting times and places that would have been forgotten without this exercise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good things come in small packages such as this mini desktop. It is very compact and barely takes up any space. It is lightweight and easily transported if need be. It comes with a mouse and a keyboard so all you need is a monitor. Hard to believe something so small can be so powerful. This HP Elite Mini is very fast and handles anything I throw at it. There are plethora of ports which is very convenient. All in all this is a superb choice for home or office.

It has all the things I like on a desktop. Enjoy the speed. To sum it up. I like the computer.

Added storage drive to my desktop computer.

This bracket is complete with screws. I used it to mount a 3.5 drive in my Dell desktop.

8GB SDRAM is much better than 4GB in my DELL desktop computer.
