Composition Notebooks On Sale This Week

2nd camera needed this.

I purchased this lens just days before heading to Cuba for a week-long trip. I wanted this wide-angle lens on my M (Typ240), to go along with a Nikon D5 and 70-200. It was a great combination. As an F/3.4 lens, it's way smaller than the F/1.4 21mm which makes it ideal as a companion on a trip. I found myself primarily zone-focusing the lens...looking at the aperate I was using and setting the focus and then just worried about composition. I had previously purchased the shoe-mounted 21mm finder, and if you're concerned at all about composition, it is something you will need when using this lens. The results were fantastic...terrific color rendition and razor sharp images, in a nice lightweight package. A perfect fit for a Leica M camera.

I purchased this camera for a four week Holga class. This is truly a fun camera. If you have the desire to learn about composition and developing film, this camera is your ticket to doing it inexpensively.

Wish I knew they were going on sale a week after I bought them, but they seem to be working fine in my Panasonic camera after using them on a few shoots.

I jumped to get this when it went on sale. I use it every day now in my studio office and it's very adaptable for the variety of positions that can be used with it. The week I received it I took it with me on a hunch for photographing a number of people at a client's location. Everyone enjoyed it, although I was careful to caution that it required them to maintain their own balance with two feet on the floor. It actually forced them to show better back posture for the headshots, which always helps people to look better. Good product!
