Computer Case With Dvd Drive

Solves the problem of new computer not having a CD/DVD drive, at a reasonable price.

I have used this external DVD burner quite often when a computer I am working on does not have a DVD drive, so far is recognied right off, write speed is OK, works on wins 8,

This drive only works on newer Apple Computers. I had to purchase another DVD/CDW drive to work on my old iMac G-5 to replace the worn out drive built in the computer; I was lucky that B&H had that drive and it works fine.  I had no problems with the Apple USB SuperDrive on my new computer and will keep when I replace the newer computer (7 years old now) as the new iMacs do not have a built in drive.

This is a great case for the older style use when using opticals like dvd burners and such. The newer cases do not have these but this one does. The computer build is very easy and the case works well for me....thanks

I decided to go with a Mini-Tower Case for my latest build. My previous case was a Fractal Design 5 Full Tower case. The change was a 90% positive experience. Here's my take: There isn't much room for: fingers to plug in power and fan connectors, routing cables, power cables behind the power supply, drives. My mistake, but there is no space for a DVD drive. If you need one every so often, get a USB DVD drive. I LOVE the physically smaller form factor. It is much lighter and fits under my desk better. I LOVE how quiet the case is.

most, if not all, new laptops don't come with a dvd drive anymore so you're on your own if you need to view media on discs. this portable dvdrw drive from asus is extremely lightweight and about the size/dimensions of a music cd case, so you can easily fit it inside any backpack or computer case. regarding the functionality, i've been using it for over a month now and it hasn't had a single issue. easy to setup with the included wire and can be up and running within a minute or two. i'd highly recommend this drive, especially at this sub-$30 price point

I use these DVD's all the time to back up important stuff from my computer, I also have an online backup, but the dvd's are muck quicker access. I love them.

Purchased this specifically to watch DVD's on our MacBook Pro. Our old Macbook had a dvd drive built in. Living off grid; its nice not to have to go online in order to watch a movie. Works very well. Thank you.
