Computer Central Perks 2.0

We needed a budget case for a budget system. Nice perks, front panel with USB 2.0 and 3.1. Only comes with one case fan which for us is enough. Great panel for help with cords/wires. 5 |

The Mic is not the best out of the box. You must plug it into your computer, download Rode Central, and edit the settings. After that it is perfect. 5 |

Perfect for backing up data from Your computer if you have USB 3.0. If You are using USB 2.0 it is slower but it will still get the work done. 5 |

Using using for back-ups, and to transfer files to another computer. Unfortunately, my computer uses USB 2.0, so can't get full speed out of it. It is quiet and fast enough for what I do. 5 |

I was able to combine several smaller usb's onto this 128GB, very convenient. My computer only has 2.0 flash and this drive works well. 5 |

I use this active USB 2.0 cable to connect my HD Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 mounted over my family room TV to my computer in my computer hutch. Max USB 2.0 cable length is spec'd at about 16 feet. This active cable allows me to place my USB camera more than 16 feet away. 5 |

The product is fine, but the information says it is USB 2.0 compatible. This is true from a data transmission standpoint, but that is not the end of the story. If using this cable on a computer with a USB 2.0 port, that USB 2.0 port needs to supply sufficient power for the active component on the USB 3.0 cable to operate. Unfortunately on my mid-2010 MacBook Pro the USB 2.0 ports do not have sufficient power for the USB 3.0 TetherPro cable. I am sure this is the case with some other computer's USB 2.0 ports. So I returned the TT USB 3.0 cable and purchased the TT USB 2.0 Active Extension. All works well now. 5 |

It plugs into my camera and my computer, and makes files transfer. What more do you need? :) The cable itself is thick, likely due to both the quality of construction and the fact it's USB 3.0. The Male A end fits rather loosely into my MacBook Pro, but that's not the cord's fault; the port is only USB 2.0, and too shallow to fit the whole plug. It is compatible though, and transfers files faster than other USB 2.0 cables I've used to tether. 5 |

I'm using it to backup data files. I plugged it into a USB 2.0 port on my Windows Vista computer, and the computer recognized it immediately. It's fast and quiet. No complaints at all. Didn't use, need, or want the WD software. The price was definitely right. 5 |
