Computer Configuration Windows 8

8GB SDRAM is much better than 4GB in my DELL desktop computer.

I work with two Kubuntu 12.04 Linux workstations continuously connected, and a Windows 7 employer's Lenovo 530 laptop that I connect every evening on returning home and disconnect every morning when heading to work (via a Lenovo docking station continuously connected). My monitors are dual Dell 3007 2560x1600 dual-link DVI, keyboard Avant Stellar (PCI connector via USB adapter), with a Microsoft wireless mouse. When using the laptop, I can use its screen in addition to the two Dells. I can switch among these seamlessly. I even have the less-used Linux workstation normally sleeping, as it wakes up properly as soon as I select it. A nice touch is that one Dual-Link DVI cable of each pair has the USB and audio cables integrated into it, keeping the wiring rat's nest manageable. The only annoyance is that, inevitably, because the external monitor configuration for the Windows 7 Lenovo 530 at the office differs, I need to reposition some windows when moving between home and office. But once I got the Windows configuration set up properly, the laptop at least automatically recognizes which monitor configuration it's connected to. (Because the DVI outputs of the Lenovo docking station are single-link, it's necessary to use its HDMI outputs and interpose Accel HDMI to Dual DVI converters between it and the MiniView.)

I'm using the StudioRAID in a RAID 1 configuration recording security camera videos on a Windows PC. Setup was easy. It's recording multiple cameras 24x7 so it works hard and performs well. I like that there is no power brick. My only complaint is that it is noisy. It's the hard drives, not the fan. I've noticed this with other Glyph arrays. Usually it's not a problem as they are a server room or space that is already noisy.

8 x Splitter works as described. Great unit.

I could not upgrade the firmware from Godox through my windows 10. So after a computer professional looked over the situation said that Windows 10 would not recognize the upgrade due to the time Godox wrote the firmware upgrade. He used Windows 7 and the firmware upgrade worked.

Great computer...much faster than my old one was. Had to upgrade for Windows 11.

Very good feel , sturdy very good configuration, lighted keyboard, everything is good with this computer regarding every day use for internet browsing etc. Lightweight, slim and good screen size

What more can I say?! The facts are all there. When it comes to the ultimate video editing computers Apple is the go to configuration. Whether your using FCP or AVID you want a Mac Pro pushing your software making your system fast and reliable. I picked this computer because it was the middle of the road. Everything I need in power right now with a little room to grow into the future. I upgraded to 12GB of RAM and my machine is purring. I am very pleased and would recommend this computer to my fellow editing friends. ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been playing computer video games right after the invention of the wheel in every configuration possible in both video and audio. I went from a highfalutin 5.1 surround system to mutiple experiments with 2.1 systems.but nothing engaged me fully in the gaming until now. Set up was again very easy with the dongle connection to the computers USB, download the JBL Quantum app and you are at the starting gate. Click on the 7.1 channel set up and it will launch a video on how to configure the headphones with Windows.This is when the fun starts. Press test after configuration and you will hear the 7.1 surround test pattern swirling around your head.Very cool. It took a little while for my brain to adapt to the ambience that these headphone provide and doing so wirelessly! Footsteps, voices in various enviroments, shot gun blast, and explosions, drew me into the game.Soon the headphones disappered and the gaming expierence became more pronouced and involving. Even my old games that I played over a million times had a new lease on life. But wait theres more. Besides my music library in my computer, I also stream music. Now I can listen to music with these headphones without being tied down to the computer. In fact the distance from the computer was very very impressive. Did I like these? Absolutly killer for gaming and music! They have not left my head!

I have to say that it is exactly what I hoped it would be. The feel is excellent, configuration is a breeze, and the computer plate option fits my MBP 15 perfectly. I don't have any sticky keys or any other imperfections that I can identify. I added the SLP3-D Triple Pedal and like the SL88, it is also built like a tank. I was thrilled that Synthogy Ivory II American Concert D was included and it sounds fantastic. If I had to nag on one thing I would wish for a way to dim the LCD. It is very bright and can be a bit distracting at times. Again, no real complaints...
