The TP-Link AV600 Powerline Adapter is a little jewel for extending a wired Internet connection. Simply plug one unit into an AC wall outlet near a router and the other unit into an AC wall outlet in the area where one wants a wired Internet connection. Then, connect the unit by the router to the router with an Ethernet cable. Next, connect the other Powerline adapter to the device, e.g. computer, with another Ethernet cable. Now, one has a wired connection to the router. It works seamlessly by using the electrical wiring in one's building. 5 |

It took about 3 minutes to connect the UPS to the computer, monitor, router, and other assorted equipment. After letting it charge up for the recommended 8 hours, I 'tested' it by pulling the power cord out of the wall socket. Everything continued as normal, as expected. Now, no worries if we do have a 'real' power failure. 5 |
