I had massive CPU heat problems with the 12900k. The chip runs extremely hot and just my replacing my old case with the 011D XL, the same games went from 80c to 50-60c. With this case I was also able to add two 140mm on the bottom as intake which helped out quite a bit. This case has so much room and it was extremely easy to cable manage. This was also the first time ordering from this site and B&H was the only one I could find offering this case at a normal retailed price. Shipping and delivery is also much quicker than other merchants at the time including Amazon (probably due to shortage). Overall extremely pleased with this purchase. 5 |

This is only my second AMD CPU, having moved up from a 3600X. I’m thoroughly impressed. The heat levels are a lot less than other reviews claimed, as it peaks 74 degrees with a midrange AIO. It does really well when rendering and file compressing. I use it primarily for gaming with a 3080, and it works extremely well side by side with it. I recommend this CPU. 5 |
