Computer Desktop Sale 2Tb Hard Drive

This is the drive I use to store data on my desktop computer; just upgraded from a 2TB drive. Needs to be formatted and partitioned after the physical install, but super simple using Windows Disk Management SW. This monster storage combined with the SSD I use for my operating system makes my 8 year old desktop purr like a contented tiger.

I have several of the 2TB Barracuda 3.5 Internal Desktop Hard Drive by Seagate. I used them with as backup repositiries utilizing a NewerTech Voyager SATA drive dock. it is a Multi-Interface Dock that i can use with any size drive. Instead of having one big external backup unit, or several individual external drives - I use the voyager and back up each of the four drives in my macPro. I also use these drives internally when needed.

This is a solid hard drive. I wanted a good 2TB hard drive to use as a backup drive in my Windows 7 home computer. Using hard drives larger than 2TB is painful with Window 7. So, I wanted to get as much storage as I could. B&H had a GREAT price on this drive.

I received my 2TB external hard drive 2 days ago and have since backed up all the data on my computer. The external is quick and reliable thus far and I'm overall very pleased with the product and price. The external was $$cheaper here *so I was able to justify purchasing 3 years of warranty with my savings. This is my first B&H purchase, and I will be back for many more :).Best,Tara

The only thing better, maybe, than this 2TB My Passport Portable Hard Drive would possibly be a 3TB hard drive. If you need portability with easy access to your files this is it! B&H has the lowest delivered to your door price anywhere that can be found. Lower prices are advertised but shipping and tax take it up to almost local retail.Have not discovered a downside to this product and doubt I will.Thank You B&H!

The Western Digital 1TB Desktop Performance Caviar Black HDD Retail Kit (WD1003FZEX) is a quality internal computer hard drive. The B&H store sells this drive at a very reasonable price, and provides fast shipping. I've used it on a refurbished desktop computer and expect to get over five years of service. I plan on purchasing more of these dives to provide a second data drive and a portable external hard drive this I can depend on. There are no negatives about this drive.

With an adapter it just slid right into the open hard drive slot in my MSI Desktop computer. Activated it in Windows 10. Very easy installation and the drive works perfectly, you may need an installation kit.

I had a 6-year-old desktop with a regular (legacy) hard disk drive. The desktop was painfully slow when doing anything. After installing the SSD, the desktop instantly sprang to life. It's like a brand-new computer. If anyone has a slow computer, and it has a legacy hard disk, pop an SSD in and you will be amazed by the performance difference.

I have 12 portable hard drives. No desktop that I have owned or seen has enoughUSB inputs to handle 12 portable hard drives plus the USB ports that are required for the keyboard, mouse and printer. This hub is the solution to the problem. I really like that there is an on-off switch for each station. When I am about to boot up my desktop computer I turn off all the ports that I will not be using for the session. This prevents accidentally disconnecting a hard drive while the computer is on which can corrupt data in the drive. This hub has a power supply that is very substantial. I really don't know what its function is but I guess its necessary to have enough gain from the hard drive. The only downside of having 10 hard drives hooked up to this hub is where to find the space to store the hard drives. Also many of the hard drives I have come with a cable that is only 12 inches long and that limits where you can place the drive. I intend to purchase some that are 24 inches or more to replace those cables.
