Computer Desktop Video Recording Software

My Apple Desktop Computer runs macOS operating system software that has recently been updated to 64 bits. My Epson Perfection V850 Pro scanner ran on a 32 bit application. It was very easy for me to go to the Epson website and have my scanner software revised to a 64 bit application. And free. Hooray!

Good day. I purchased this desktop computer at the end of December 2019. The combination of its cost and hardware capabilities was optimal for use by my wife. After a month of use, the wife had a positive impression: it is suitable for work and computer games of medium complexity. I was worried based on the reviews I read, for example, on Amazon, but after reading the information on the Acer technical support website about updating the software, I realized that the problems were not with the computer, but due to the ineptitude of users who managed to spoil this pretty decent electronic machine when software update. I recommend the computer as a worthy workhorse for work and games.

I'm new to recording for AM radio, but I know what I want - a clean recording, one that can be cranked up without annoying distortion, and procedures that are easy to understand and do. It's all in the RODE USB podcaster. In the past three months, I've tried SM58s, Shure SM63LB (mic for television interviewing), and several other mics that I plugged into my laptop 1/8 port - and they all made somewhat degradable recordings. The RODE USB connection means that the mic goes directly into my computer USB port - like it was meant to in the first place - and it goes directly into my Audacity software - BOOM - clean and bright. I don't want headaches with complicated hookups for my computer. I have a Windows 7 laptop, and all I did was stick the USB wire into the computer. Fantastic. Twenty seconds later a message popped up - Successfully installed. I went to my software and hit the record button, and INSTANTLY I was recording. What a gem.

I have now purchased 5 of these... easy to use and great video. If you are using video recording software such as Limelight XE, then you need to use the generic IP URL of rtsp://(your_ip_address)/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0 to get the main feed (the link is not well documented). A great IP camera for the monday.

I was looking for a quality tripod for close-up work and for desktop video recording. This model is great and very well made (like a miniature Manfrotto). It holds my Canon 1DX MK ii with various L lenses easily. Highly adjustable.

I just built a desktop machine and needed a monitor for live streaming and video recording. Most of what I view is in 1080p or 720p. I've never really experienced 4k until now and it's amazing. I've always liked Samsung monitors and this one is easy on the eyes. I'm especially appreciative that there's knowledgeable people at B&H who patiently spent time with me on the phone and genuinely helped me evaluate multiple options. It's a rarity in today's world and makes for a pleasant and satisfying experience.
