Computer Fan Loud Laptop

I use this for my Macbook Pro. I actually find it cools it better than having the laptop on a fan. It's also much more comfortable to work with the computer at eye level. I use an external mouse and keyboard, but the trackpad is still easy to reach for scrolling or swiping. It doesn't bend, the metal is about a quarter inch. The front lip is about 3 inches from the table. I would recommend this to anyone with a laptop, especially with Apple laptops. The aluminum tone is identical to that of the Macbook Pro.

Great light for the price! only really negative is a loud fan, if that is a deal breaker I would look elsewhere

The fan is still a bit loud even though they have the new fans in there, probably because our studio is very very quiet, still think its overpriced, as these guys have monopoly on the market, it never goes on sale but does the job. If you moving from old mac tower to, new mac, studio, or laptop, you had pcie cards in the old one, then you need this unit, it 3 slots, check the size of your card on their site to make sure it is compatible. RME, Universal Audio, Protools all work.

The fan works beautifully, the only issue is that after the second speed it gets pretty loud, it is in a hallway so not much of an issue, but I wish it ran just a little quieter. Seemed to run nearly non-stop when I had it set to 85 degrees, but at 90 degrees it runs quiet a bit less. Very happy with the purchase.

Using as a RAID 1+0 with SoftRaid as a backup for footage, and have no complaints. Fan isn't loud enough to even notice under my desk. Throughput with Thunderbolt allows me to attach other arrays, or even spindle drives, when my other ports are being used. You can also mount or eject drives that are in front of the chain, which allows me to keep this attached while removing edit or footage drives.

This light it well built a well and is strong . Some people say the fan is loud but I don’t think it is a problem. I know audio guys will require perfect audio but it is not a problem. I have had no issues. I returned my equivalent GVM light because this one was a better price and more reliable.

My old Peavey amp made loud fan noise, it bothered to recording so I bought this. This is very calm and silent amp and I am satisfied.

My apartment has a rather loud fan in the bathroom. I wanted a Bluetooth speaker for the bathroom that I didn't have to worry about around water. This is a great purchase. I no longer have to worry about splashing/exposing to water and I can finally hear my music/podcasts in the bathroom. On occasion I also use it poolside--I have not yet used floating feature!
