This is a great digital motor for focus pullers. I use a Preston Cinema System and have always used Preston motors in the past. The form factor of this motor is so much better and i can build my camera tighter on remote heads. After a lot of research this motor is more efficient than the Preston DM-1X and half the size. DM-1X has a spin rate of 229 teeth per second and the M26VE-LX spins at 255 teeth per second so that means faster racks from minimum to infinity. The LX version of this motor is worth every penny. 5 |

I used it in combination with the Impact 5/8 Male to 1/4 - 20 Make Screw Adapter to hold my Preston FIZ system to my focus monitor stand. If I needed, I could easily unscrew the adapter from the 5/8 receiver and carry the Preston around. 5 |
