I've only had the opportunity to use this once or twice but I already know I like it. Very smooth operation and really locks in place. Easy to adjust. While it has a little bit of weight to it, that makes it solid and worth it. There's a reason it costs more.... 5 |

While true, as mentioned in the previous review, that there are no thumb locks on the XLR connectors, this is common for many pro stage/studio DI and splitter boxes. I have used this box many times and have never had a connection issue. More importantly, to me, is the quality and size of the transformer. Yes, size matters, because without some iron mass it's easy to saturate the magnetic coupling in the low end. While this unit is the cheap version of the Radial splitter with a Jensen transformer, it is still way ahead of typical low cost splitters. Plus it has an extra output. Very solid for the price. 5 |

one switch locks the magic arm locks it in place. its little bit hard to lock it in place and i wish it was lighter. 5 |
