I was lucky enough that my 30 year old computer had 2 SATA connectors and this SSD hooked right up... slow SATA speed (SATA300) but boot times around 10 seconds for Windows 8.1 Home... 5 |

be sure to Format the drive to NTFS, otherwise this will seem very slow! Right click, Format! Speed is good but depends on the computer / laptop you are using. Works better with faster computers it seems. Overall a very good product, especially for the size/price ratio. 5 |

I am definitely pleased with this little piece of hardware. I had no idea how much of my computer's "lagging" and slow performance was actually due to my old, out-dated WiFi card. It's literally like I threw in a new CPU with a good 1ghz increase. Not something you typically see - but this little slice of heaven actually remedies a lot of problems I've been having. Have been using a USB 2. 64 gb flash drive that I had no problems with but very slow. Just got new computer with USB 3, so checked around, but B&H had best price by far (think almost $ cheaper than @). The drive is great. I highly recommend it.Having done business with B&H for over 35 years (since around 1979). I know they treat customers well. 5 |
