Computer Is Using Speakers Instead Of Headphones

I love these headphones. I use them on my computer for gaming and for music. Using a creative labs dedicated sound card to power them they really have a good clean sound. The bass is there with some thump and the mids and highs are there without being blown out or over shadowed. I have a pair of Audio-technnica ATH-A550z and I think the Tascam have a better sound. The fit is not quite as sealing as I would like but everyone has a different head shape so I know one size fits all usually fits none. For the price I definitely recommend them.

This unit is very versatile for switching from 2 sources to one set of headphones, or from one source to a set of headphones or earphones or switching between computer headphones and speakers. It's small, compact and very portable so doesn't take up much space on the desk and is easy to transport. I use it to switch between a headphone amp/headphones combo and an amplifier and speakers using one source. there are no negatives about this handy device! It has so many applications it is indispensible!

These headphones have great sound and amplification. The band isn't the sturdiest thing in the world, so this is the third pair I've bought in about five years, but I don't even care. The bass is nice but not too heavy (I can't stand heavy bass). I originally fell in love with these because my computer audio jack is screwed up and is only stereo if I plug headphones in halfway, and of course then the sound comes over the laptop speakers too. But these headphones are loud enough to hear loud and clear with the computer speakers inaudible so it doesn't bother anyone else. Not judging these based on whether they're editing headphones. I use them for listening.

I've had these wonderful Sennheiser headphones longer than I can remember. Instead of having to toss them when the cable wore out, I got this replacement cable. I took a pair of pliers, carefully unplugged the old cable, and easily inserted the new connections. I had all that great sound back in a few minutes. It's a pity we have to throw things away when small bits of them wear out. Good that the Sennheiser folks design this kind of thing in their products.

Unlike many consumer grade headphones, these do not overemphasize the base. Instead they deliver a wonderfully flat response curve that lets you hear the music as it was recorded. I understand now why the K240 is often consider to be a standard in many recording studios. As impressive as the sound was, it may surpassed by the comfort of these headphones. I could wear these 12 hours a day and not fatigue. These are also a great value as they are half the price of the newer K240 Mk II. My only disappointment is that Harmon has shifted manufacturing out of Austria, and they are now made in China.

This is such a handy gizmo. Instead of awkwardly reaching up to my camera (positioned on a tripod behind my computer monitor), I have it attached to my desk within easy reach. Here I can control zoom and record/stop. I love it!
