Computer Keyboard Arrow Keys

I recommend this keyboard over the Apple keyboards because of the inverted-T arrow keys. It's nicely made and the amount of travel on the keys feels great. My only reservations is the height of the keyboard. The top of the aluminum chassis for is just a little bit taller than the top of the keys on the Apple keyboards. With the additional height of the keys on the Matias, you are going to notice some differences if you are used to an Apple keyboard without a wrist rest. 5 |

This is full size keyboard - exactly the same as any normal keyboard - minus the number pad and arrow/misc. keys that have a separate section to the right of the keyboard. Also, the back-space key is a bit smaller than usual, but no big deal. I got this so that I can have the mouse right close by. Having the extra sections of keys on the right forces me to have to stretch my arm and shoulder further out to use the mouse and this caused me pain in my shoulder. For most people this is not an issue, but is for me. Bottom line: If having a number pad and/or a separate section for the arrow/misc. key on the right is not important to you, then this is a great option for a full size keyboard that takes up less room. 5 |

It seems the keys are spaced apart there is more room the keys are raised and I just really like like this keyboard a lot compared to there one that came with the computer. This one is like my old one and I love it . 5 |

This really makes your iPad into a computer. There is nothing this keyboard cannot do. The keys have good tactile feel and the trackpad is very good. 5 |

I received this fine keyboard and mouse and find both superb, especially given the ridiculously great price from B&H. Who ever heard of any good computer product for this price? But the problem for Mac users is that there are no usable function keys for all the special Mac functions: EXPOSE and others. After receiving this two days ago, I began using it heavily in my work as a visual artist. The keyboard performs great and so does the mouse. But when I realized I had no special function keys, I immediately called Kensington to see if there were some work-around ways to get those special Mac features. There are not, and the Kensington rep specifically told me they have no keyboards that will provide such Mac features. Instead of trying to return this to B&H, I decided to keep the set because I need a new wired mouse anyway. And a back-up keyboard is always a good idea if you use your computer for work. By the way, I ought to mention that I wanted wired everything because my beloved wife has electromagnetic hypersensitivity, and all wireless devices producing RF are grim for her. I have a special plastic covering the front of my iMac that reduces RF emissions to an extremely low level. So now the whole set-up is safe for her to be near, even though she cannot USE the computer herself. I have now ordered another keyboard from B&H (MAFK318B) that specifically states it supports all Mac function keys. I gave a five-star rating because of the quality of the set. I don't want its reputation downgraded just because it did not work in every way on my computer. 5 |

Like many, my computer is in the bedroom. Late night sessions meant hunting for keys by the light of the monitor and keying slowly to keep the noise down. More time wasted than productive. It became obvious a new keyboard would be needed. This one met all requirements for an acceptable price. It was a pleasant surprise when it arrived. It's solidly built. Despite its thinness it has a surprising weight that prevents it from shifting around under fast typing. Its laptop-style keys require less travel and finger extension, which suits me fine. The illumination is mostly uniform and is controlled with a dedicated key (four levels of intensity). I didn't bother to install the included software because the extra media functions weren't needed and because it's Windows-only. Al-in-all I am perfectly satisfied. Be aware that this keyboard is not for gamers, but for those who might prefer a laptop-style keyboard-- typists. 5 |

Turned my iPad into a small laptop computer and protects the iPad at the same time. Keyboard lights up to make seeing keys at night a breeze. It also attaches magnetically which makes it easy to remove for reading in portrait mode. Trackpad is very smooth to the touch, very close to my MacBook Pro. It gives you the best of both worlds, a laptop or tablet. Best thing I ever bought for my iPad. 5 |

I am so happy that I stumbled upon this keyboard! I work many late hours on my home computer in the dark, so finally being able to see the keys instead of guessing is wonderful! The keyboard looks and feels better than any I've ever had and the light illuminating from the keys is bright enough to see but not overpowering. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an illuminated keyboard. 5 |

At the lowest price I could find for a controller keyboard, the Korg nanoKey2 is very impressive. It only has twenty-five keys, but the octave shift buttons allow you to change the octave up and down, giving reach to the full range of notes for electronic music. It has neat pitch bend, sustain, and vibrato buttons, too. It resembles a computer keyboard in the flatness and shape of the keys and is even smaller than a computer keyboard. It works great with my electronic music software. It even picks up musical accent (velocity); so the harder you press the keys, the louder it is, and the softer you press the keys, the quieter it is. The only thing that would make it better is if it had sounds of its own. However, it serves its purpose as a Musical Instrument Digital Interface controller well. It comes with a software code so you can download some electronic music programs from the Internet; so if you do not have music software already, you can get some to use with the nanoKey2. The cable that it comes with stays in the socket very tightly and it will not fall out so easily. This is good so it will not disconnect on accident. Overall, the Korg nanoKey2 is a good buy for being able to listen to, experiment with, and record sounds in audio software without having to use the computer mouse and computer keyboard all the time to program commands and test out sounds. It is light-weight and its slim-line design is very convenient and saves space. It would be good for use with a laptop on the go. I find it a nice addition to my desktop home studio. It is perfect in function for its size. Very neat. 5 |

This keyboard replaces a flimsy, inexpensive one furnished with a new computer. I am very pleased with it weight (does not slide around), quality, and the feel of the keys. The backlighting of the individual keys is the main reason I purchased it. Though I am a touch typist, in dim light I can now place my hands in the right spot initially and avoid typing a few words of gibberish. It is also a great help when hunting for those odd keys - special characters or function keys - that require a glance down at the keyboard. 5 |
