Computer Keyboard Not Working On Boot Up

The boot drive on my computer uses one of these drives and has been working correctly for several years. I purchased this drive as a back up in case the primary fails. I cloned my boot drive to my recent purchase with no difficulty. If the boot drive fails, or if there is an unfortunate scam attack, I can recover by simply replacing the primary boot drive with the recent back up. 5 |

My working computer is a MacBook Pro 13 2017 4-port. I am learning video editing and needed more screen real estate. After researching prices for quality 4k monitor prices for my laptop, this iMac was only a few hundred $ more, and you have a new computer to boot. This machine is blazingly fast compared to my MacBook, and verified when checked with geekbench's free version, which is to be expected with a newer machine, and the screen is beautiful. My only complaint is with Apple not making the wireless keyboard with the same size keys and spacing as a MacBook. Going back and fourth between machines, as I do in my daily workflow, I find my fingers overshoot on the smaller wireless keyboard. The new Trackpad has some of the same feel issues as well. Make sure to actually use the usb output that matches the computer your are testing your mouse+keyboard with. I had the keyboard+mouse not working like some mentioned in other comments/reviews. I contacted the support team which helped me make it work correctly. It's silly but we never know what would have with lack of coffee :) . 5 |
