Computer Keyboard Short Cuts

I like working the skin on top of my keyboard it helps me learn the short cuts and keeps my keyboard clean at the same time.

I'm using this on on a short audio-technics shotgun mike, mounted on a Sony FS5. It substantially cuts wind noise down to almost nothing. All low-end rumble is gone. High-end hiss barely discernible during gusts. This has really improved audio and, as a result, production quality, all around. This is much, much better than just the foam cover. Highly recommended.

If you are on the fence about purchasing this gear, I can only say it is the best thing I have ever purchased for music production! It really does do it all. It is made well, sturdy, and the number of short cuts to achieve any number of functions has been amazingly well considered. The ability to integrate a data ssd hard drive in the unit itself is brilliant, but they didn't stop there ... you can still access media via SD cards and USB drives. Akai has done a great job of addressing most needs in this one maschine!

This little book has lots of short cuts to using Lightroom Classic by using keys instead of the mouse. Most of these aren't obvious and can't be found in one place. Most instruction manuals/books may have them but they are scattered throughout the publication and hard to find. Works great for me.

Short and sweet. Needed a short midi cable to connect my keyboard to a little Tetra synth box that sit on top of my organ. This cable works out nice. Can place the synth box anywhere on my keyboard and don't have 6 feet of excess wire dangling around waiting for someone to trip over. Wires and cables are spaghettified already didn't want to add to the mess with another long cable. Thanks B&H.

Works perfectly, I use two DAWs for two different task. I use Ableton for tracking for church and other related stuff. I have committed to learning Logic for writing and scoring. This keyboard is helping me to do that. Short cuts are key to an efficient work flow. This keyboard pushes me to look for short cuts where I would normally fiddle around in drop downs. I will put it this way, if I was using Ableton on a separate work station, I would absolutely have the Ableton keyboard for it.

This is the second Zagg Case/Keyboard I have owned. It’s the only keyboard that I have found that allows me to type as I would on a full sized computer keyboard.

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

This cable is just right for the short run from my computer to a second monitor used in editing.

I use this mic right next to my computer, which is exceptionally noisy, and with the back of the mic towards the computer, it cuts it pretty well. It still, even in my noisy environment, manages to pick up pretty clean audio. It really is a great mic. The sound is wonderful and if it were in a decent recording environment, I'm certain it would be very clean as well. I love it.
